Job summary

Luxoft is building reusable platform capabilities and data products that help quantitative researchers discover, access, and consume data across a complex landscape, accelerating prototypes to production.

You will collaborate with business teams, analysts, and architects; work with developers, designers, and IT peers; contribute to design and code reviews, API design, and unit testing, while pushing for scalable, maintainable software.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend development experience with Python.
• Front-end development experience (React preferred).
• Production API design & delivery (FastAPI preferred), including versioning and documentation.
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred) beyond core compute/storage/DB.
• Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Debugging & problem-solving skills with ownership across the SDLC.
• Experience applying modern agentic approaches to software engineering.
• Hands-on with Claude Code, VS Code + Copilot, and building or using reusable AI skills.
• Agent-first repositories - build agent-ready repos with context, skills, conventions & evals baked in.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business teams, analysts, and architects to understand requirements and identify system changes.
• Collaborate daily with development teams, designers, copy writers, and IT peers.
• Develop and present recommendations from analysis of current solutions; assist in design reviews and testing.
• Provide solutions and designs to solve process or project issues and defend recommendations.
• Demonstrate strong organization and communication to produce design documents for various audiences.
