Job summary

PURVIEW is delivering a modern, BYOC platform to manage software development controls from Sheffield, UK. You will re-platform a legacy app, build microservices, and modernise the stack while addressing dependencies and vulnerabilities.

You’ll work in an agile team, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to automated testing and rapid iterations in a CI/CD setup. Strong English and Java background are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building microservices architectural style applications.
• Experience with Graph databases (Neo4j desirable).
• Experience modernising legacy Java applications.
• Experience with the design and build of REST APIs.
• Strong technical and analytical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in BDD and/or TDD approaches and frameworks (unit/integration test automation).
• Experience resolving issues with dependencies and performing upgrades.
• Experience working with Agile including Jira/Confluence.
• Strong English skills, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

The Developer Experience (DevX) Standards and Controls function is building a platform for control owners and development teams to manage/view their compliance with a range of software development controls.

The candidate would be working on re-platforming an application from a vendor platform (PCF) over to an internal bring your own code (BYOC) platform as well as modernising the application and resolving dependency issues.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with developers, testers and the wider organisation to build and run products Design, develop & implement back-end features as per backlog/priority with a small element of frontend development.
• Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
• Proactively work with customers to resolve their issues and respond to feature requests.
