Job summary

MASS is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to maintain and secure on-premises infrastructure in a highly secure environment. You’ll lead third-line incidents, drive VMware and Windows Server improvements, and ensure continuity through robust backup and change-management practices.

Based in Corsham (SN13) with on-site duties, you will collaborate with internal teams to deliver reliable, high-performance IT services and play a key role in shaping our secure, resilient infrastructure portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven server infrastructure support and administration.
• Solid VMware technologies experience (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter).
• Hands-on Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable third-line support for secure infrastructure incidents.
• Maintain and administer Microsoft Windows Server environments, AD, and DNS.
• Manage VMware-based virtual infrastructure and backups with Veeam.
• Ensure continuity through backup, recovery, and change management.
• Document configurations and contribute to service stability and improvements.
