Job summary

The University of Greater Manchester is seeking a Senior IT Systems Developer to join Information Systems and Technology, with assignment to the Off Campus Division, managing partnerships worldwide.

You will translate operational requirements into secure, user-centred systems, workflows and services that support Division operations and remote learning delivery. You will also maintain awareness of emerging technologies, including AI, and assess appropriate tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and support systems development projects for the Division, including workflow automation, integration with core platforms, web-based systems, SharePoint sites and content management solutions.
• Support digital and live learning solutions, including via Moodle, ensuring security, accessibility and documentation.
• Stay aware of emerging technologies, including AI, and assess tools against divisional requirements.
