Job summary

IT Search & Select is seeking an experienced 3rd Line Support Specialist to join a fast-growing MSP in Reading. You will act as the senior escalation point for Windows Server, Azure, Office 365 and modern workplace technologies, supporting a diverse external client base.

You will troubleshoot complex incidents across on-premises and cloud environments, deliver hands-on project work such as migrations and security improvements, and mentor 2nd Line engineers to raise service delivery.

Qualifications

• 3rd line experience in MSP/multi-tenant environments.
• Expertise in Windows Server, Azure, Office 365 and Intune.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with Azure AD, identity, conditional access and cloud security.
• Networking fundamentals (VPN, firewalls, switches).
• Ability to work independently on client sites and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

This role suits someone who thrives in a multi-customer environment, enjoys solving complex issues, and can take ownership of advanced Microsoft cloud and infrastructure challenges.

Acting as the senior escalation point for Windows Server, Azure, Office 365 and modern workplace technologies

Troubleshooting complex incidents across on‑prem and cloud environments

Delivering hands‑on project work including migrations, upgrades, deployments and security improvements

Supporting external clients across varied industries, both remotely and onsite (3 days per week)

Managing Azure resources, identity, networking, security and monitoring

Administering Windows Server, AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP

Producing documentation, technical guidance and best‑practice recommendations

Working closely with 2nd Line engineers to mentor, support and improve service delivery

You will need:
