Pontoon is seeking an experienced IT Sourcing Manager / IT Procurement Manager for a leading UK banking organisation on an initial six-month contract. The role focuses on software/SaaS sourcing, licensing, renewals and commercial negotiations, with end-to-end ownership of sourcing activities and strong stakeholder engagement across technology and business units.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT sourcing, procurement or strategic technology procurement.
• Proven experience sourcing software, SaaS and enterprise software licences.
• Experience managing full sourcing lifecycle: strategy, RFP/RFQ, supplier evaluation and contract award.
• Strong vendor negotiation skills and software contract renewals.
• Experience handling multi-million pound sourcing projects and renewals.
• Excellent stakeholder management across tech, legal, finance and risk functions.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end IT sourcing lifecycle from requirements to contract award.
• Lead SaaS, software licensing and legacy software sourcing.
• Manage software renewals and new sourcing requirements.
• Develop and execute RFP/RFQ processes and negotiate terms.
• Challenge pricing and assess value; conduct market benchmarking and TCO analyses.
• Present sourcing strategies and outcomes to senior stakeholders.
