Job summary

Interface Recruitment is recruiting for an IT Security Manager in Sheffield for a manufacturing client. The role reports into the Head of IT and leads the in-house security function, including one Security Analyst, with a focus on risk, governance and incident response.

The position is hybrid, offering progression and close collaboration with Infrastructure. Candidates should have 3–5 years in IT security, strong firewall and CrowdStrike experience, and be able to communicate complex security

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a technical IT security role.
• Strong IT security foundation with infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience with firewalls and network security is essential.
• Experience with CrowdStrike and endpoint security.

Responsibilities

• Firewalls, threat monitoring and endpoint protection using CrowdStrike, and security solutions around MDM.
• Manage day-to-day workload and coordinate with other teams to improve security posture.
• Maintain information security risk register and perform DPIAs and security design assessments.
• Prepare reports for the board on threats and vulnerabilities.
• Line management of Security Analyst.
• Occasional travel to site when required.
