Senior IT, Security & Automation Specialist Location: London / Hybrid Salary: £50,000 – £60,000
We’re working with a boutique Corporate Finance firm looking for a hands‑on IT, Security & Automation Specialist to take ownership of their technology environment. This is a genuine one‑person technology function with a huge amount of autonomy. You’ll handle everything from onboarding new employees and managing devices to security, AI, databases, automation and building small applications. It’s a varied role for someone who enjoys figuring things out rather than working within a narrow job description.
You’ll have around 5–7+ years' experience across IT, infrastructure, systems, development, automation, DevOps or a similar technical environment. We’re looking for someone with a broad technical skillset rather than someone who ticks every box. You'll ideally have experience with:
Airtable experience isn't essential - strong database experience is enough.
This is much more than traditional IT support. You'll have the opportunity to build systems, develop applications, automate processes, implement AI and shape the firm's technology and security strategy. You'll work closely with a small, entrepreneurial team, have direct access to decision-makers and very little bureaucracy. If you like autonomy, variety and being the person who makes things happen, this won't be boring.
