Job summary

ed Resourcing Ltd in London is seeking a hands-on Senior IT, Security & Automation Specialist to own the firm’s technology environment. You’ll handle onboarding, devices, security, automation and small applications with real autonomy.

The role includes managing Microsoft 365/SharePoint, databases and AI tools, plus governance of Copilot/Claude, while working in a FCA-regulated setting and collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years' experience across IT, infrastructure, systems, development, automation, DevOps or similar.
• Broad technical skillset; not limited to a single narrow box.
• Experience with security in FCA-regulated environments.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 / SharePoint, IT infrastructure and desktop support, security and access management, SQL/databases, scripting/automation, AI tools and Mac environments.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day IT and desktop support, onboarding, devices and applications.
• Manage Microsoft 365, SharePoint, access and permissions.
• Support IT security within an FCA-regulated environment.
• Develop and maintain security and AI policies.
• Support tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude.
• Work with databases, SQL and Airtable.
• Build small applications, scripts and automations.
• Identify opportunities to use AI and technology to improve the business.
• Troubleshoot problems and take ownership from start to finish.
