Job summary

IntaPeople: STEM Recruitment is recruiting two IT Security Architects for a high‑profile financial services client undergoing technology transformation. The role focuses on embedding security across cloud, on‑premises and hybrid environments to protect change and enable business objectives.

You'll review designs, perform threat modelling, set security standards, and advise project teams while navigating regulatory requirements and emerging tech such as AI and APIs.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Security Architecture or a closely related role.
• Proven track record in Security Design Reviews and Risk Assessments.
• Strong cloud security knowledge, especially Azure.
• Experience securing APIs and modern cloud-native apps.
• Understanding of IAM, SSO, MFA and Zero Trust concepts.
• Familiarity with FCA, ISO 27001, NIST regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end security architecture and design reviews.
• Perform structured threat modelling (STRIDE).
• Produce and maintain security standards, patterns and guidelines.
• Provide expert security consultancy throughout project lifecycles.
• Review SaaS and cloud vendors against internal security requirements.
• Support governance activities and present to Design Authority forums.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, IAM, Infrastructure and Risk teams.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives including Identity Modernisation.
