Job summary

Arm is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for a 3-month fixed-term contract based in Petersfield. You will lead delivery of multiple projects within the Staff Retention portfolio, ensuring scope, schedule, budget and risks are managed.

You will work with HR, Operational and IT stakeholders to define requirements and drive a structured Waterfall delivery with strong governance. The role requires hands-on Waterfall delivery experience, excellent stakeholder management up to director level, and

Qualifications

• Experience delivering multiple concurrent projects.
• Hands-on Waterfall delivery experience.
• Business change and organisational transformation delivery experience.
• Strong service transition and operational handover expertise.
• Comfortable managing projects from initiation to benefits realisation.
• Excellent stakeholder management up to Director level.
• Experience in complex operational environments.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP preferred.
• Experience in care, healthcare, or people-intensive organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of multiple projects within the Staff Retention portfolio, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, RAID logs, governance packs and executive reporting.
• Deliver projects using Waterfall methodology with strong project controls.
• Collaborate with HR, Operational and IT stakeholders to define requirements and solutions.
• Drive business change activities including stakeholder engagement, communications and adoption planning.
• Manage project teams, SMEs, third-party suppliers and technical resources.
• Lead service transition activities, ensuring readiness, support models and BAU handover.
• Identify and manage budgets, risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
• Track delivery against business outcomes and benefits related to staff retention and workforce stability.
• Provide clear project reporting to programme boards, sponsors and senior leadership.
