Job summary

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior IT Procurement Manager (NHS AfC: Band 7) to lead high-value IT tenders and contracts. You will develop category strategies, advise on public procurement rules, and drive value for money across the Trusts.

The role focuses on building strong stakeholder relationships, managing complex procurements, and delivering savings in line with the Trust’s Savings Plan.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths & English at grade C/4 or above.
• MCIPS or a degree in business-related subject.
• MBA or MSc in Procurement / Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-value and complex tenders and contracts for IT goods and services.
• Develop strategies to meet procurement needs across categories.
• Act as category expert to ensure best practice and value for money.
• Operate systems to ensure data-driven decision making.
• Achieve savings targets in line with the Savings Plan.
