Job summary

Pontoon is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to oversee a SAP Supply Chain implementation and platform delivery. The role focuses on delivery governance, risk and stakeholder engagement across IT and business teams.

The position is predominantly remote with occasional Midlands site visits (1-2 days per month) for a 6+ month engagement, offering day rates of £650-£750. You will report on progress, remove blockers and ensure timely decisions to keep the programme on track.

• Proven experience delivering technology projects or programmes.

• Experience identifying risks, dependencies and blockers.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineering, architecture, product and business teams.
• Build delivery plans, milestones and dependencies.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and blockers.
• Drive actions through to resolution and hold owners accountable.
• Provide clear, concise and meaningful delivery reporting.
• Support decision making and ensure key decisions are tracked and actioned.
• Escalate delivery concerns at the right time and to the right audience.
• Challenge plans, assumptions and delivery dates where required.
• Improve visibility and confidence across stakeholders.
• Help create a culture of ownership, transparency and delivery focus.
