Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect for IT/OT to lead architecture across the Transmission portfolio in a regulated electricity/energy context. The role is a 6-month contract Inside IR35, based in Glasgow or Aberdeen with 1-2 days onsite, requiring senior governance and cross-domain architecture expertise to shape strategies, roadmaps and key artefacts.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior-level Enterprise Architecture experience.
• Experience with IT/OT architecture.
• Experience providing architecture assurance and governance across large-scale programmes and projects.
• Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and suppliers with credible architectural input.
• Experience working in asset-intensive environments.
• Experience collaborating with business, technology and delivery stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Provide senior Enterprise Architecture expertise across the Transmission portfolio.
• Collaborate with Architecture Lead to develop and maintain architectural direction.
• Develop strategies, target architectures, roadmaps, capability models and other artefacts.
• Provide architectural assurance across major projects, programmes and BAU initiatives.
• Review solution architecture produced by project teams and third-party suppliers.
• Ensure proposed solutions comply with architectural principles, standards, patterns and guardrails.
• Engage with project/programme teams to understand business requirements and implications.
• Provide senior architectural guidance on complex or strategic initiatives.
• Provide input across IT and OT environments and ensure IT/OT alignment.
• Align architecture activity with Group processes, standards and governance.
