IN A NUTSHELL

Reporting to our Technology and Portfolio Director, the Senior IT Manager will be responsible for all of Bulk’s back and middle office technology, with a focus on ensuring our core ERP architecture delivers a high-quality customer experience.

Leading a team of six (including four direct reports) across three sites, this role covers day-to-day service delivery, continuous improvement, and support for transformation initiatives, all while ensuring Bulk remains secure.

2024 marked a year of significant change, with major upgrades across nearly every system. We now seek someone to optimize this new landscape and lead our high-performing team’s growth.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

IT Strategy & Planning

• Define and deliver an IT strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on ERP and back-office systems
• Maintain and develop IT policies and standards
• Identify emerging technologies to maintain competitiveness
• Manage the IT budget for cost-effectiveness and ROI

IT Infrastructure, Operations & Service Management

• Design, implement, and maintain core IT infrastructure
• Ensure system stability, performance, and resilience
• Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning
• Manage IT support services and external vendors
• Maintain data integrity and incident management

Cybersecurity & Data Protection

• Develop cybersecurity strategies and ensure compliance with GDPR, Cyber Essentials, NIST
• Implement security controls and conduct audits
• Promote security awareness

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead and develop the IT team across multiple locations
• Set goals, conduct reviews, and support development

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Build relationships and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders

Change Management

• Implement scalable change processes for IT projects

Vendor Management

• Select, contract, and monitor external IT vendors

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP, Prosci ADKAR
• 7+ years of IT experience, with 3+ years in leadership
• Experience managing IT infrastructure, security, and change in retail
• Knowledge of ERP/WMS/Middleware and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)
• Strong cybersecurity knowledge and budget management skills
• Proven leadership and communication abilities

LOCATION
