Job summary

Agincare is seeking a senior IT leader to shape the technology roadmap for a growing care organisation. The Head of IT will drive strategy, secure operations, and enable business growth across 150+ locations and 1,500 users.

Based at the Portland head office, you’ll lead an in-house team of eight, overseeing security, governance and strategic projects. The role requires strong experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, plus a track record of cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders

Qualifications

• Experience leading an IT function within a growing organisation.
• Strong strategic vision for IT aligned with business growth.
• Hands-on with Microsoft 365, SharePoint and security controls.
• Experience integrating multiple external business applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the IT strategy aligned with organisational goals.
• Lead and develop the IT team and oversee day‑to‑day IT services.
• Manage Microsoft 365/SharePoint environments and access controls.
• Oversee cybersecurity, governance, and compliance with standards.
• Lead technology projects from concept through delivery within budget and timelines.
• Manage supplier performance, SLAs, and relationships with MSPs.
