Job summary

Talantir in Cambridge, UK is seeking a hands-on Senior IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer to manage and scale corporate IT systems, networks, and hybrid cloud environments. Hybrid work arrangement is 3 days onsite at our Cambridge location.

You will administer Entra ID / SSO, manage Azure / M365 / AWS, design enterprise networks, VPNs and firewalls, and implement high-availability, backup and disaster recovery strategies while collaborating with Security to ensure compliant configurations and

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in IT infrastructure and network engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Linux servers (Windows exposure desirable).
• Experience managing Mac-heavy corporate device environments.
• Strong Microsoft ecosystem knowledge (M365 / Entra ID).
• Enterprise networking and firewall management experience.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure / M365 / AWS).

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and enhancing Linux and Windows server environments.
• Managing a predominantly Mac-based device estate with secure endpoint policies.
• Administering identity systems (Entra ID / SSO) and hybrid cloud services (Azure, M365, AWS).
• Designing, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise networks, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Implementing high-availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Collaborating with Security and IT teams to ensure compliance and secure configurations.
• Driving operational efficiency through automation and documentation.
