Job summary

Gold Group is seeking an Infrastructure Systems Administrator in Cheltenham, working on-site three days a week. The role offers a salary of £65,000–£80,000 plus benefits and entails guiding design, administration, and advanced technical deployments across enterprise infrastructure.

You will contribute to service planning, install and troubleshoot systems, and collaborate with vendors while supporting ISO20000/27001 standards. UK nationals only due to clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong technical foundation across multiple infrastructure domains.
• Experience with 24/7 service delivery and on-call duties.
• Experience with ISO20000/ISO27001 standards and vendor collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations on systems administration to management.
• Plan and develop the overall IT service strategy.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call roster and after-hours changes.
• Lead systems administration projects and initiatives.
• Contribute to new principles and concepts.
• Adhere to approved procedures and security standards.
• Collaborate with vendors for support and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot complex deployment, infrastructure, and performance issues.
