Office in London is seeking a Senior IT Engineer (Infrastructure and Security) to join our Core Engineering and Support teams. You will help deliver secure, reliable infrastructure, networking, server, endpoint, and data services that support Head Office, stores, and warehouse operations.

The role emphasizes resolving security gaps, maintaining core systems, and ensuring stable service delivery across 90+ retail stores and HO users.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, security, and support.
• Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
• Hands‑on VMware/Hyper‑V, patching, and secure configuration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL and FTP servers/applications.

Job DescriptionWork with Core Engineering and Support teams to deliver secure, reliable infrastructure, networking, server, endpoint, and data services. The role supports Head Office, stores, warehouse operations, third-party vendors, and technology projects, with a focus on resolving security gaps, maintaining core systems, and ensuring stable service delivery across 90+ retail stores, users in HO, and a large warehouse team.

What we are looking forRequirements

• 6+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure, security, and support.
• BTEC HNC/D or equivalent in Computing/IT or related subject preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Meraki and Fortinet network equipment, including switches, access points, routers, and firewalls.
• Experience administering Microsoft , Active Directory, Windows desktop, and Windows Server environments.
• Hands‑on experience with VMware, Hyper‑V, endpoint protection, patching, and secure configuration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL, FTP servers, FTP applications, and secure data handling.
• Strong problem‑solving, root cause analysis, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, detail‑focused approach with a track record of improving processes and reducing security risk.
