Job summary

FluidOne is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to provide IT consultancy and hands-on support for Chorley clients. You will handle reactive and proactive service tasks, monitor systems, install and configure solutions, diagnose faults, and guide users through troubleshooting steps.

You’ll work to SLAs, manage multiple tickets, and be prepared to travel to client sites or the core location. ISO data security practices and professional communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an IT Support Role and Team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external clients.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and stay professional.
• Follows ISO management systems and data security practices at all times.
• Maintains regular, punctual attendance and accurate administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide reactive and pro-active technical support and incident management.
• Monitor and maintain systems and networks; diagnose faults in hardware and software.
• Support updates and roll-outs for client applications and training as needed.
• Work to SLAs; manage multiple tickets and establish client relationships.
• Occasionally travel to client sites or our Core site; out of hours work may be required.
• Escalate and hand off non‑remit issues; own tickets until completion.
