Job summary

A well-established UK lender is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to oversee cost management across their IT and Transformation sectors. You will manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, ensuring clarity for technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in cost accounting in financial services and will play a vital role in developing financial strategies that support technology investments. This full-time position is based in London, Chatham, or Wolverhampton.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in cost or management accounting within financial services.
• Proven background as a Finance Business Partner working with executive stakeholders.
• Strong Excel modelling skills and experience using ERP or GL tools.

Responsibilities

• Owning budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis.
• Managing project accounting and headcount including capex and opex.
• Partnering closely with IT and programme leaders.
