Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd is recruiting a Senior System Integration Engineer for a two-year contract in Cambridge, UK, within the Life Sciences sector. You will plan and execute integration across hardware, firmware and software, and drive validation for IoT and connected devices.

You will define test plans, build test environments, perform manual and system-level testing, and report findings. A strong background in embedded systems, electronics, RF and cloud-connected solutions is essential.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or similar).
• Experience in multidisciplinary system integration (Hardware, Firmware, Software).
• Experience creating test plans, test procedures and test design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Define detailed test plans, test cases and validation strategies for complex IoT and connected devices.
• Design, build and maintain physical test environments and integration setups for hardware, firmware and software validation.
• Execute manual and system-level testing, analyse results and report findings in detail.
• Lead investigations and troubleshooting across embedded systems, electronics, RF and cloud-connected solutions.
