Job summary

Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust (SWB) is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and progressive Consultant to join our Interventional Radiology Consultant team. The appointee will cover all sites during the on call and contribute to the IR service and training of junior radiologists.

FRCR or equivalent and GMC Specialist Register in Radiology (or within six months of CCT) are required. We provide a full range of non-vascular interventional radiology services with strong collaboration across

Qualifications

• Applications welcomed from candidates with FRCR (or equivalent) who are on the GMC Specialist Register in Radiology or who will be within six months of obtaining their CCT at interview.
• Demonstrate fully trained in the generality of Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the Interventional Radiology service.
• Participate in training and supervision of junior radiologists allocated to the Department.
• Cover all sites during on call.
