The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Radiologist to join a busy and expanding department. The post offers sessions across two main sites with flexible group job planning and part-time options.

Contribution to an on-call rota is core to the role and there is an emphasis on teaching and departmental administration. The successful candidate will develop advanced interventional skills and collaborate within a multi-professional team to deliver high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Experience as a Consultant Radiologist in a busy department.
• Ability to perform vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures.
• Strong commitment to high-quality radiology reporting and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Contribute to general diagnostic workload and on-call radiology rota.
• Develop and maintain advanced clinical skills in interventional radiology.
• Participate in organisation and administration of the Radiology Department and teaching of staff.
