Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join our established IR service at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The role includes collaboration with IR and Diagnostic Radiology teams, with opportunities for subspecialist interests and teaching.

The post is based at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (Wonford) with sessions in a Hybrid endovascular theatre.

Qualifications

• Completed specialist training in Clinical Radiology.
• Subspecialty training in Interventional Radiology, IR fellowship, or substantial IR experience at consultant level.
• Evidence of relevant clinical experience in your application.
• EBIR qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a broad range of vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures.
• Contribute to teaching, training and service development across Exeter and Torbay sites.
• Participate in Interventional Radiology on-call rota, with no general radiology on-call duties.
