Job summary

Saga is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor for a 12-month FTC in a hybrid role covering Folkestone and home working. You’ll work within the Group Professional Services team, delivering end-to-end audits and contributing to strengthening internal controls across Saga.

You’ll bring strong audit expertise, commercial awareness, and excellent communication to manage risk and drive improvements, collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Internal Audit experience including senior-level exposure.
• Strong understanding of risk, controls and materiality.
• Ability to apply strategic priorities when evaluating risk and controls.
• Experience managing a portfolio of work with multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Experience using data analytics and technology-enabled audit techniques.

Responsibilities

• Deliver audit and assurance work end-to-end across the business.
• Understand objectives, risks, and controls within areas under review.
• Apply Group strategy when assessing risk areas and controls.
• Identify risks/controls and design testing strategies.
• Execute testing to form a credible opinion on controls.
• Use data/technology to enhance testing and insights.
• Draft audit issues/reports to high standards.
• Follow up on actions to validate effectiveness.
