Barclay Simpson is recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join a well-established internal audit function within a large, complex organisation. The role emphasizes data analytics and the use of AI tools to advance the function.

You will own a varied portfolio of risk-based audits from planning through reporting and follow-up, working with stakeholders at all levels to strengthen controls and deliver practical recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal audit, risk or assurance, including operational and project-based reviews.
• Strong data analytics and automation capabilities.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIIA/IIA.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously manage a varied portfolio of risk-based audits from planning through reporting and follow-up.
• Cover a broad mix of operational, project and systems-focused audits for exposure across the organisation.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels to assess risk management and controls and provide practical recommendations.
