Job summary

Barclay Simpson is seeking an experienced internal audit professional to join our growing team in the Manchester office. The role is client-facing, delivering internal audit, assurance and advisory assignments across a diverse portfolio of organisations.

You will own key engagement areas, assess risks and controls, analyse evidence and develop practical recommendations that add value. You will also mentor junior colleagues and collaborate with senior stakeholders, with some client-site travel

Qualifications

• Qualified or studying towards a CIA, CIIA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• UK experience across internal audit, risk, controls or assurance.
• Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver internal audit, assurance and advisory assignments across a diverse portfolio of organisations.
• Take ownership of key engagement areas, assessing risks and controls, analysing evidence and developing practical recommendations.
• Support and coach junior team members and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
