Job summary

HKS ARCHITECTS LIMITED - UK is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead and contribute across all phases of interiors projects, translating client vision into concept designs and technical documents.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, develop FF&E, finishes, and presentation materials, and ensure design solutions meet sustainability, budget and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in interior design projects.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; knowledge of FF&E preferred.
• Understanding of sustainability and building codes; strong design intent.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates on all phases of the design process from programming to construction documents.
• Develops interior concepts based on client vision and architectural concept.
• Generates renderings, finish plans, schedules and material selections for construction.
• Provides design support and documentation during execution of concepts.
• Leads or coordinates documentation for interiors projects with minimal guidance.
• Maintains awareness of project timelines and deadlines.
• Contributes to design presentations for clients and team members.
