Job summary

A&O Shearman is seeking an experienced .NET developer to design, build, and maintain integration solutions for its legal systems, with a focus on ingestion, time recording, and document storage for matters. The role entails working with fee earners and IT teams and contributing to QA and security reviews.

You will participate in agile ceremonies, refine acceptance criteria, and support CI/CD pipelines. Strong C# skills and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Direct or related experience in .NET development, preferably in professional services.
• Demonstrable problem-solving skills using C# and .NET.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, patterns, testing, and debugging.
• Knowledge of scalable, cloud-based systems and operational management.
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate integration platforms in alignment with firm standards.
• Develop microservices and web apps to connect systems using integration platforms.
• Write unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
• Improve and extend CI/CD pipelines and provide 3rd line support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security and performance.
