We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Insurance reporting and data collection functions. This critical role enhances our global reporting capabilities, involving data collection, regulatory compliance, and strategic reporting for our insurance clients. You will work closely with our third-party partner and M&G teams to optimize reporting systems and meet evolving client and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting and Data

• Contribute to the strategic direction for insurance reporting and data collection across all regions.
• Drive the evolution of our Clearwater Reporting system to maximize its capabilities and ensure seamless integration with M&G's data.
• Maintain clear ownership of the reporting function to support client requests and oversee end-to-end reporting processes for insurance clients.

Reporting & Regulatory Change

• Stay abreast of evolving insurance client reporting requirements, especially related to new regulatory standards such as ICS, and diverging UK and EU regulations, to ensure M&G's responsiveness.
• Adapt reporting processes to accommodate new requirements like ESG and climate reporting.
• Integrate new regulatory data points, particularly for clients in Asia and emerging markets.

Client Data Requests

• Partner with client-facing teams to understand and anticipate data needs.
• Support client requests with timely, accurate data, ensuring comprehensive template completion.
• Establish processes to address specific data requirements, reducing ad-hoc issues and ensuring response consistency.

Operational Efficiency and Improvement

• Identify and implement process improvements in data collection and reporting to reduce turnaround times and mitigate issues.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, especially Clearwater, to manage data dependencies.
• Proactively improve data insights, reporting gaps, and processes.
• Build and maintain strong cross-departmental relationships to advocate for data enhancements and align reporting with business goals.

Insurance Reporting and Vendor Management

• Oversee Clearwater as an Insurance Reporting vendor, including TPT provisions.
• Manage vendor relationships and process improvement initiatives.
• Understand client requirements and ensure alignment with M&G.
• Possess expertise in insurance obligations and calculations related to reporting.
• Present Clearwater capabilities to clients.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in insurance reporting, data management, or related roles, with process improvement background.
• Knowledge of UK, EU, and Asian regulatory standards, focusing on insurance asset management reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data reporting tools, preferably Clearwater or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and process optimization abilities.
