Spider Web Recruitment Ltd, on behalf of a UK-based specialist, is seeking a hands-on Senior Installation Supervisor to join their growing team. Based from Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, with nationwide travel to customer properties, you will lead a four-person installation crew and oversee all on-site works.

You will have at least five years of senior 1st/2nd fix carpentry, strong leadership, and excellent problem-solving and customer-facing skills.

• Liaise with customers and the off-site Project Manager.

Senior Installation Supervisor - Spider is advertising on behalf of a UK-based specialist in designing, manufacturing, and installing high-quality, pre-cut residential annexes, who are looking for an experienced 'hands on' Senior Installation Supervisor (Senior Fitter) to join their growing team. This permanent, full-time role is based from Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, with nationwide travel to domestic customer properties.

About the role:

As the Senior Installation Supervisor, you will lead an experienced four-person installation team, assembling and finishing high-quality, pre-cut residential annexes at domestic properties across the UK, typically completing one installation per week.

This hands-on role includes:

• Leading the team and managing site activities
• Offloading and assembling timber-framed annexes using glulam and pre-cut panels
• Checking completed groundworks before installation
• Completing and overseeing 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, floor laying and internal door hanging
• Overseeing kitchen and bathroom fitting, UPVC windows and doors, and EPDM/lightweight tile roofing
• Liaising with customers and the off-site Project Manager

About you:

You will have at least five years' senior 1st and 2nd fix carpentry experience, plus proven team leadership and site/installation management experience. You'll be a hands-on leader with excellent problem-solving and customer-facing skills, able to work independently while maintaining high standards.

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide are essential. Approximately 50% of installations involve working away, Monday to Friday only, with paid travel and accommodation. You will return home each weekend.
