Job Description:

Kenect Recruitment is seeking a Service Engineer specialized in Fire & Security Systems for a position based in Northern Ireland, with travel across NI & ROI required. The role offers a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 DOE and is full-time and permanent.

The ideal candidate is experienced, enjoys hands-on field work, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service across various sectors. You will be part of a close-knit engineering team, performing planned maintenance, emergency repairs, and system upgrades on fire and security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work on fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control systems, and emergency lighting.
2. Conduct fault finding and diagnostics to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
3. Provide onsite repairs and technical support, maintaining high standards of customer service.
4. Maintain accurate service records using digital software.
5. Liaise with field line managers and support teams for timely service delivery.
6. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations (BAFE, NSI Gold).
7. Identify and report potential risks, recommending upgrades or improvements as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience servicing fire and/or security systems.
• CSR Card.
• Strong fault-finding skills and technical knowledge across multiple platforms.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• A proactive and flexible attitude towards working hours and travel.
• Full UK driving license.
• Knowledge of compliance standards and digital reporting systems.
