Job summary

Primark is seeking a Senior Insight Analyst to lead the Applied Insights & Analytics team. You will deliver high-impact commercial analytics, turning data into actionable recommendations across Trading, Buying & Merchandising, Supply Chain, Retail Operations, Finance and Customer functions.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to shape analytical strategies, drive adoption of insights, and coach junior analysts to maintain high standards of analysis and storytelling.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering analytics, reporting and business insight in retail or fast-paced environments.
• Strong SQL skills to query, join and analyse large datasets for commercial decisions.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau to build dashboards and insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact analytics projects from problem framing to actionable recommendations.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to prioritise analytical approaches and drive commercial performance.
• Use SQL and reporting tools to interrogate data, identify trends and formulate practical recommendations.
