This is a hybrid role, typically 1 day per week in the Oxford office.

ABOUT THIS JOB

Our Analysts are vital to NielsenIQ’s success. They work daily with our client base, including major brands and retailers. Clients rely on our Senior Analytics Executives for insights that support decisions in product development, pricing, and more. Our team supports clients in Health and Beauty, Beers, Wine and Spirits, and Grocery sectors.

We craft compelling insights and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to help clients grow. Success in this role involves establishing strong relationships with clients and colleagues, understanding client needs, and presenting solutions that meet strategic goals. Our team has diverse backgrounds, and we value storytelling skills in a data environment. Training is provided to familiarize new hires with our products and analysis methods.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Understand client business priorities and support roles (e.g., brand planning, range reviews).
  • Set up client onboarding for analytics & insights services and conduct training on tools like Connect Express and Discover.
  • Identify opportunities during engagements and coordinate with Account Development.
  • Collect Voice of Customer data for UX & Service Models.
Delivering Insight
  • Become a category expert; engage with industry trends and client categories.
  • Challenge hypotheses and bring new perspectives.
  • Make data-driven recommendations based on rigorous analysis and business understanding.
Workload Management and Prioritization
  • Manage workload independently, prioritize commitments, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Maintain work logs and project plans where applicable.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Engaging presenter with experience in storytelling and delivering presentations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent time management and project delivery skills.
  • Numerically confident and capable of analyzing data independently.
  • Problem-solving orientation and attention to detail.
  • Relationship-building skills internally and externally.
  • Experience in an analytical environment and understanding of FMCG industry trends.
  • Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
