Hybrid — 1–2 days per week in Greater Manchester.

I’m supporting a large, data-rich organisation in the public sector / field services space to hire a commercially minded Insight Analyst. This team works across regulated contracts and high‑impact operational environments - with a real opportunity to drive profit, performance and client outcomes through strategic insight (not just reporting).

Day to Day

• Turn operational + customer data into clear insight and commercial recommendations
• Add narrative, meaning and action to existing reporting for senior leadership
• Proactively identify trends, risks, and performance issues
• Act as the bridge between data/reporting teams and business stakeholders
• Initially support one core function, but role will expand as value is proven

They’re Looking For

• Self‑starter - someone who can come in and lead insight, not wait for instruction
• Advanced SQL – strong hands‑on ability absolutely essential
• Confident storyteller and communicator
• Someone who drives action & change
• Comfortable working with operational, customer or collections‑style data

Interview Process

• 30‑min SQL test
• Final with reporting lead / business lead (rubber stamp for strong candidates)
