Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to lead assessment, formulation and prescribing of care within the inpatient Mental Health Unit in Manchester.

You will work within the multidisciplinary team to deliver recovery-focused care, discharge planning and service improvements, including on-call rotation and education initiatives across Bolton and Manchester inpatient services.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical practitioner with non-medical prescribing.
• Experience working in inpatient mental health MDT.
• Ability to lead assessments and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment, formulation and prescribing of care planning including discharge planning.
• Support clinical decision making and service pathways within the MDT.
• Promote practice development, supervision and modelling good practice.
