Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join the Neighbourhood Mental Health Team. The post focuses on complex cases in a community setting and requires collaboration with the MDT and external partners.

The ACP will assess, formulate and prescribe within SOPs, provide clinical leadership, lead on physical health priorities, and help develop the service and workforce through education and training.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Professional with MSc in Advanced Practice and Non Medical Prescribing.
• Experience in senior clinical roles with complex needs and prescribing experience.
• Strong trauma-informed approach and ability to lead clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Attend MDT meetings and clinics in community and clinic settings.
• Assess, formulate and prescribe within SOPs and pathways.
• Provide clinical leadership and contribute to workforce development and education.
• Lead on physical health priorities and develop the service.
• Develop and maintain relationships across GM mental health system.
