Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join the Manchester NMHT team. The role involves working with complex mental health cases in a neighbourhood setting, operating within a trauma-informed model and MDT framework.

You will oversee assessment, formulation and prescribing, provide clinical leadership, and contribute to ongoing service development and education across the Manchester mental health system.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Professional
• MSc in Advanced Practice with Non-Medical Prescribing
• Degree-level 2:2+ in a relevant field
• GCE/Maths and English at Level 2
• Project/quality improvement qualifications
• Leadership/change management qualification

Responsibilities

• Engage in trauma-informed care for service users.
• Attend MDT meetings and lead clinics in community and clinic settings.
• Initiate and monitor medication regimes per SOPs.
• Provide clinical leadership within the team and contribute to service development.
• Lead on physical healthcare initiatives and staff education.
