Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is delivering the Bramford to Twinstead Network Optimisation project in East Anglia. We seek an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage costs, maximise value and drive commercial performance while mentoring junior team members.

You will work within a high-performing commercial team, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery and strong governance across the project lifecycle. Chartered status or working towards chartership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual management skills with cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial and contractual activities within your area of responsibility.
• Forecasting, cost control and value maximisation across the project lifecycle.
• Prepare, review and negotiate subcontract packages; manage variations and final accounts.
• Produce cost reports, cash flow forecasts and commercial performance updates.
