Job summary

South East Water is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-value capital infrastructure programme. You will drive end-to-end delivery, manage NEC contracts, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulators to meet time, cost and quality goals.

Essential is NEC3/NEC4 ECC expertise, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage complex projects in the water sector. PPP/PFI finance exposure is desirable and a thorough HSE culture is required.

Qualifications

NEC3/NEC4 ECC experience or equivalent across multiple projects.
Experience delivering complex infrastructure end-to-end.
Understanding of PPP/PFI project finance desirable.

Responsibilities

Manage full lifecycle of a major capital project with init, plan, execute, monitor, control and close.
Engage with stakeholders including regulators and local authorities.
Define scope, manage master schedule, and control costs.
Identify risks and opportunities and implement mitigations.
Lead contract management, NEC communications, changes and final accounts.
Ensure HSE compliance and CDM requirements across delivery teams.
Provide regular progress reports to senior management and governance bodies.
