Job summary

Currie & Brown is seeking an ambitious Senior Planner to lead infrastructure commissions across London. The role involves steering a team of planners, overseeing programmes, and ensuring safe, timely delivery while maintaining quality.

You will work closely with supply chains, stakeholders and site teams to align plans with contracts and client expectations. The position emphasizes leadership, collaboration and the use of planning techniques to drive successful outcomes on major infrastructure

Qualifications

• Significant experience in planning services, ideally on large infrastructure projects.
• Experience in Rail, Healthcare, Aviation or Energy sectors.
• Ability to apply various planning, programming and progress monitoring methods.
• Ability to read tender documents, contracts and specifications.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building within teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and inspire a team of planners to deliver infrastructure projects.
• Assess projects from multiple angles to determine safe, efficient delivery.
• Engage supply chains and subcontractors to gain buy-in for the plan.
• Manage programmes to deliver on time, to budget and to quality.
• Report on productivity and track progress with accurate data on site.
• Make informed decisions to adapt plans as needed.
• Collaborate across teams to enhance safety and quality.
• Mentor junior planners and support leaders.
