Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council's Planning Team is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Officer to lead, assess and advise on NSIPs in Lincolnshire, coordinating with promoters, applicants and communities. The role involves preparing Local Impact Reports, negotiating legal agreements, and appearing at examinations and inquiries, while discharging conditions and supporting the Planning Apprentice.

A degree in Town and Country Planning and RTPI membership are required.

Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Town and Country Planning and RTPI membership.
• Experience advising on NSIPs and working with promoters, applicants and communities.
• Strong organisation, policy interpretation and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and advise on NSIPs to deliver positive outcomes for residents and environment.
• Prepare Local Impact Reports and negotiate legal agreements.
• Appear at examinations, inquiries and hearings and discharge conditions.
• Manage Planning Apprentice and support planning team activities.
• Assist with minerals and waste development applications when workload requires.
