Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior / Associate Planner to join its infrastructure team in Bristol. The role focuses on leading major infrastructure and energy projects across the UK, with involvement from inception to completion and opportunities to build client relationships and mentor junior staff.

You will bring MRTPI qualification and significant town planning experience, including NSIP/DCO processes, and work in a multidisciplinary consultancy.

Qualifications

• MRTPI qualified.
• Significant experience within town planning, with infrastructure experience highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the Planning Act 2008 and NSIP/DCO process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management and report-writing experience.
• Confident managing client and stakeholder relationships.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development.
• Able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
• Competent using Microsoft Office, with GIS experience desirable.

Job Title: Senior / Associate Planner

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading planning and consultancy practice with the appointment of a Senior / Associate Planner to join their growing infrastructure team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Planner to work on a range of major infrastructure and energy projects across the UK, working alongside specialists across environmental planning, sustainability, land and compulsory purchase.

The successful candidate will have strong experience within infrastructure planning and a good understanding of the Planning Act 2008 and Development Consent Order (DCO) process. You will play a key role in delivering projects from inception through to completion, whilst also having the opportunity to develop client relationships, support business development and mentor more junior members of the team.

The Role:
