Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead development infrastructure design from pre-planning through detailed design on a range of projects in Hook, Hampshire.

You will apply your strong experience in highway and drainage design, ensure UK standards compliance, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with clients, architects and planners across multiple schemes. Salary £45,000–£52,000 per year, dependent on experience, with clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in development infrastructure engineering.
• Proven civil engineering design experience.
• Knowledge of pre-planning and feasibility studies.
• Experience with highway and drainage designs.
• Understanding of UK design standards and approvals.
• Strong communication of technical information to clients and stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities.
• Civil engineering qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a consultancy or development-focused environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Produce and oversee civil design for development infrastructure projects.
