I am recruiting for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to work on a hybrid basis - 3 days in any of the following locations: London, Manchester, Blackpool, Leeds, Birmingham, Sheffield, or Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.

The role falls inside IR35, so you will need to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.

Candidates MUST have worked within Central Government in the last 12 months.

You must have a deep understanding of Jira and Confluence administration, including how to safely apply this in complex environments covering software & IaaS development, product support, and user-centric design.

You should have experience with Atlassian plugins, including writing Groovy scripts for ScriptRunner.

You will be capable of safely migrating Jira and Confluence projects, spaces, and users to a new installation.

You will also co-design effective Jira workflows and schemes with delivery leaders.

You must have experience in designing and managing an administration function capable of handling requests for new users, new spaces, and customized Jira workflows and schemes for projects.

It would be advantageous (but not essential) if you have worked in an agile environment and have experience creating and managing infrastructure solutions in AWS.
