KDR Talent Solutions UK is recruiting a hands-on Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a globally recognised technology-led organisation in Manchester. You will design, build and operate enterprise infrastructure across Linux, networking, automation and datacentre technologies.

The role combines engineering and leadership on major projects, requires strong Linux, Ansible automation, virtualization and networking, and offers a hybrid working model, exposure to AI infrastructure initiatives and clear

Qualifications

• Strong Linux administration experience (Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL or similar).
• Infrastructure automation using Ansible.
• Hands-on datacentre and physical infrastructure experience.
• Strong networking knowledge covering routing, switching, firewalls and VPN technologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise server and storage environments.
• Scripting experience using Bash, Python or similar.
• Experience supporting virtualised infrastructure.
• Containerisation knowledge, ideally Docker.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Administer and optimise Linux-based environments.
• Drive infrastructure automation using Ansible and Infrastructure as Code principles.
