Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is recruiting a Lead Infrastructure Engineer in the UK. Hybrid working across multiple office sites, including Leeds. You will lead and mentor a high performance team, driving automation, IaC and modern DevOps practices while balancing security and usability.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, automation, and delivery pipelines to improve security services and enable digital transformation across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on modern engineering across infrastructure, policy and config as code.
• Delivery using CI/CD pipelines and tooling such as GitHub, Terraform, PowerShell and Python.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in infrastructure engineering with line management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Line manage and mentor an engineering team, promoting high performance and modern engineering practices.
• Provide hands-on DevOps engineering expertise and embed IaC, PiC, CI/CD, API-driven automation, testing and observability.
• Own and drive the technical product roadmap for infrastructure and tooling across secure browser and server security products/services.
• Ensure agile ways of working and focus on value delivery, flow, and changing priorities.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal product teams and external vendors for service quality.
• Balance usability and security to maintain strong end-user experiences while protecting security posture.
