Job summary

Oxford City Council is seeking an ICT Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own the Microsoft identity and device environment, ensuring secure, efficient delivery of core infrastructure services across council offices and community locations.

You will work in a hybrid Oxford-based role with exposure to Azure, O365 and Windows Server platforms, and you will help mentor junior staff while supporting partners such as Direct Services and Car Parks.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft-based identity and device management environments.
• Knowledge of cloud and virtualised services and security.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and working in a delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Own the Microsoft identity and device environment end-to-end.
• Ensure secure, reliable delivery of core infrastructure services.
• Support teams across offices, community locations and Direct Services.
