Job summary

Fortice is expanding its Infrastructure Engineering team and seeks a senior engineer to deliver high-availability digital projects for UK Defence and the Public Sector. The role is hybrid, based in Bristol or Milton Keynes, with a competitive salary and strong career progression.

You will work across groups to automate workflows, support delivery into Central Government customers, and enhance user experience. Proficiency in Ansible, Bash, Python/Java, GitLab/Jenkins, VMware and RHEL is required.

Qualifications

Salary: £43,000 - 83,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong VMware experience
• Strong RHEL experience
• Senior-level infrastructure engineering experience
• Experience with automation and workflow development
• Experience with one or more of the following: Java, Python, PowerShell, Bash
• Experience with one or more of the following tools: GitLab, Jenkins, DockerX, VMware, Ansible
• Experience with UNIX or RHEL operating systems
• Ability to hold or be eligible for a high level of UK Security Vetting

We are working closely with a UK defence agency to build out our Infrastructure Engineering team.
